SINCE I WAS A CHILD I HAVE BEEN PASSIONATE ABOUT LISTENING AND TELLING STORIES.

Raised in a family involved in the arts and educated on the stages and wings of São Paulo theaters, I grew up among stories of Shakespeare and Molière, painting sets, sweeping stages, gluing costumes, listening to and collecting good stories.

Lots of colors, textures, sounds and movements, that was my school.

And suddenly, in 1998, I started getting paid for what I had been doing since I was a child. What had once been fun became a profession. And at the height of my maturity at the age of 17, I made my professional debut on the sacred stage of the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, as a production assistant for Shakespeare's play "Othello", of course.

THEATER SHAPED ME, BUT CINEMA ALWAYS ENCHANTED ME.

And two years later I decided to try my luck in the film industry. And it was on a rainy day, in the Santo Amaro neighborhood,

When I first entered an editing room, it was a dark, small, windowless room.

There I understood the power and freedom that editing has as a tool to tell a story.

And then I was sure that that dark room was where I wanted to be.

Since then, through film editing, I continue daily, in the editing room, telling all kinds of stories,

through the lenses of filmmakers, advertisers, documentarians and playwrights. And now with more than 27 years of career, including feature films, short films, series, documentaries, commercials and trailers. And with works produced in Japan, USA, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Spain and Saudi Arabia, I can say that,

A STORY IS ONLY GOOD IF IT IS WELL TOLD.
